My new sleeping partner

OK, so the title was total clickbait but I couldn’t resist!

The lovely people at Bedtime Bliss sent over this sleep mask for me to try out and I was intrigued to give it a go. I mean, how different can eye masks be? I thought. Well, it turns out they can differ quite a bit.

I’ve always had the bog-standard eye mask. You know the type; you may get one in a set for Christmas or even nick it from a long haul flight. This type.

You can always guarantee there will be a slither of light that disturbs the promise of darkness and when you wake in the morning it’s either: stuck in your hair or wrapped around your neck.

Not this one, nope! Thanks to its fancy velcro strap it stays in place throughout the night and it can also fit around the biggest of heads!

But its main selling point is the contoured eye design which means it’s completely lightweight and doesn’t put any pressure on your delicate eye area. You can even open your eyes when it’s in place, which for fellow lash extension wearers is a godsend.

Another important point to mention is that it is a COMPLETE blackout mask, meaning no cheeky slithers of light get in underneath which gives all the ingredients for a blissful night’s sleep. Now if only I could get my husband to stop snoring!
